The request was officially filed on Thursday. The Ministry of State now has three days to review the application and if approved, municipalities will have another two weeks to set up lists for people to sign.

A referendum over the second chapter of the constitutional reform has to be organised if the initiative gathers a minimum of 25,000 signatures from across the Grand Duchy.
