AGORA is responsible for the development of the sites Belval and Esch-Schifflange. At the former location, 84% of available building land has already been sold.

3,600 people currently live in Belval, around 10,000 go there for work, while the site also hosts 5,700 students. 1,120 apartments have been built so far, with an additional thousand being planned and constructed already.

With 268,000 square metres of office space, Belval is the fifth largest working site in the Grand Duchy.

Similarly, the Esch-Schifflange project is progressing. The site is 61 hectares wide, with 80% of the space being allocated to apartments and affordable housing opportunities. 25% are reserved for offices and businesses.

The remaining space will be used for public infrastructure, as for instance primary or high schools. The first offers are expected to hit the housing market in 2025.

AGORA director Vincent Delwiche has in the meantime announced that he will retire in the not-too-distant future. François Dorland will be his successor.
