
Deutsche Börse Group announced the acquisition on their website today. They bought 100% of the shares of the Luxembourgish data managing firm, which was founded in 1993 and has since managed more than 10,000 funds across 40 countries.
A statement from the German company describes Kneip as “a leading European fund data specialist based in Luxembourg with a broad set of services and long-standing relationships in the asset management industry”. The statement further underlines that the Luxembourgish firm will benefit from the “strong ecosystem” of its new parent company.
