The Public Prosecutor demanded a man who was cycling drunk to be penalised with a fine and a suspended eight month driving ban.

The man in question had been cycling his bike with a blood-alcohol level of 2,42 in July. The representing prosecutor saw some comedy in the fact that the police, having been underway trying to find a drunk driver, but instead found a drunk cyclist around 1am.

The verdict will fall on the 12 December.
