Honouring a local artistDudelange inaugurates 'Place Thierry van Werveke'
On Saturday, the municipality of Dudelange paid respects to the late actor and musician Thierry van Werveke by naming a public square after him.
Place Thierry van Werveke is located behind the water tower in Dudelange’s Neischmelz quarter.

The official inauguration of the square took place on Saturday. Thierry van Werveke, who starred in several films and was the lead singer of three bands, passed away in 2009 at the age of 50.
