People needed to keep their safety distances and wear a mask throughout the Mass. Furthermore, only half of the choir was allowed to be present. Singers already showed up an hour before the event to prepare themselves and their voices. Regular rehearsals cannot be held at the moment.

Pastor Paul Goerens, who has been responsible in Strassen for the past seven years, was happy to organise the Mass, especially given that last year's festivities were still prohibited.

People who wanted to go to church on Sunday had to register beforehand. Everybody was then assigned a specific spot, while only families were allowed to sit closer together.
