The football star's ex-agent had previously demanded the commission for Ribéry's transfer from Olympique Marseille to Bayern Munich in 2007.

The High District Court of Munich now determined that the contract in question is in fact fake and that Ribéry's signature had been forged.

The trial, which lasted for over four years, exclusively revolved around the question of whether or not Heiderscheid was entitled to the money, and not around who forged the contract.
