Diekirch, Kirchberg, Bergem... The Luxembourg emergency services had a busy evening on Thursday, intervening in numerous accidents on the roads which produced four injuries.

An ambulance from Diekirch and fire fighters were called to Bamertal at 6 pm after two cars were involved in a collision. One person was injured.

Ten minutes later, a motorbike and a car collided on Rue Carlo Hemmer in Kirchberg, injuring one person.

At 6.50pm, a pedestrian was knocked down by a car on Grand-Rue in Bergem. Mondercange first response units and an ambulance attended the scene.

Finally, at 10.30pm, a motorist came off the road and hit a tree on the N12 between Asselborn and Troisvierges. One person was injured.
