Tailbacks mainly affected the motorway between the university in Belval and the Cessange interchange. The cause of the traffic jam was a crashed lorry. The ACL reported speeds as low as 10 km/h.
Just before 8 am, the ACL confirmed the accident site had been cleared, but traffic remained disrupted.
