The driver noticed a sound similar to clapping and went to investigate. Eight refugees were hidden in the trailer, and had been collected from Luxembourg by the previous driver of the lorry.
The police took the eight individuals into custody, namely six adults and two youths from Afghanistan, Iraq, and Iran.
The refugees had arrived in Luxembourg from Paris and had planned to continue their journey towards Great Britain.
