The German Agricultural Society (DLG) awarded their "gold award" to Lodyss in January 2021, meaning that the sparkling water received a perfect score of 5/5. It is the first time that a water brand from Luxembourg is given the award.
The DLG was Europe's first organisation for agricultural industry and was founded in 1885. DLG experts analyse up to 260 mineral waters every year and in 2021, Lodyss was crowned the winner.
The water is sourced from a depth of 300 metres and is said to originate from the Ice Age, meaning that it would be around 30,000 years old. According to Brasserie Nationale, this is the reason why Lodyss has such a pure taste. The water also contains no nitrates, very little sodium and minerals, and can be safely consumed by anyone.
