Police were called to a skate park on Rue du Camping in Wiltz on Wednesday evening.
At around 6.45pm, a patrol approached a group of young people after receiving reports of possible cannabis use.
As officers arrived, one member of the group reportedly moved away and threw something into a bush. Police subsequently found a joint at the scene. A Taser and a machete were also discovered nearby.
However, officers were unable to establish that the weapons belonged to any of the young people who had been checked.
A report was filed, the weapons were seized, and an investigation has been opened.
