The release notably revealed that employees had reported management to the employment tribunal for withholding pay and that in response, some employees had been threatened to take back their reports and even fired.

On Thursday, the official response revealed that the business "formally and energetically" contests the accusations made by the trade union, highlighting that several employees had submitted reports to the employment tribunal for overtime hours, which the business contested.

The management reiterated that those employees in question were not entitled to additional pay, a point it claimed it had made clear to the trade union.

Additionally, the response claimed the three terminations, Magetralux added these were given with notice and that the procedure is still ongoing. The firm categorically denied any threats, intimidation, or blackmail.
