Accident on A1 towards KoblenzMass pile-up on: 19 cars and one lorry collide
On Saturday around 5.25,pm, 20 vehicles were involved in an accident on the A1 motorway in the Wittlich area.
The cause: black ice, but it seems only four people sustained minor injuries.
The motorway was shut off completely for four hours, with 100 people involved in handling the incident, such as the Wittlich-Land, Laufeld and Manderscheid fire brigades.
The damage is estimated at roughly €200,000.
