IBMNegotiations on redundancy programme have failed, announces LCGB

RTL Today
The US American IT business recently decided to lay off personell, which means that 38 jobs are in danger of being cut in the Grand Duchy.

According to the Luxembourg Confederation of Christian Trade Unions (LCGB), IBM's board of directors did not show any interest in finding a solution.

At the same time, the proposals made by the IT business were unacceptable, LCGB noted. The union further emphasised that the IBM did not have any relevant financial worries to justify the decision.
