Twenty-one furnished rooms and two appartments can be rented out to people in a precarious situation.
The rooms can house one person or a couple, and some of them can be linked and used for families. There is also the option of additional support, where desired.
Residents are selected from a list of 600 people who have requested social housing from the council, based on urgency. The house is made up of three buildings, including the old "Hotel Delta". Some of the historic elements were maintained, but adapted to current safety standards during the renovation.
The hotel was purchased by Luxembourg City in 20015. The original renovation budget of 2.3 million Euro was met, with the government covering 75% of the costs.
