One petition proposes the introduction of identification cards that also include the driving license, as well as the social security information. Another petition demands that security guards be posted outside of schools, daycare facilities, and nurseries.
Further petitions include the introduction of a €1,250 basic income for all Luxembourgish residents, the construction of a Napoleon statue, and a more humane regulation of work hours for bus drivers in the private sector. Another noteworthy petition demands that the Luxembourgish government publish all available information on so-called UAPs, Unidentified Aerial Phenomena.
Some of the new petitions are also concerned with the pandemic. One proposal demands that vaccinated people do not receive any form of privileges until every citizen has received a chance to get the injection. Another petition requests that all current restrictions be immediately cancelled.
All of the aforementioned petitions, as well as others, can be signed online at petitiounen.lu, which is also accessible via smartphone or tablet. Although petitions can only be filed in one of the country's official languages, the rest of the site is also available in English.
