The second helicopter is scheduled to be delivered in a couple of weeks. The helicopters are expected to be operational by January at a cost of €28 million. Police will be able to rely on the helicopters 24/7. The pilots are yet to undergo training.
The new Airbus H145M was inaugurated in presence of Minister of Defence and Deputy Prime Minister François Bausch.
