Police arrived on the scene after 3pm on Friday afternoon, but the men reported had fled.
After a short search, officers came across them once again, where the group was joined by another person. The latter became aggressive and blows were exchanged, leaving a police officer with minor injuries.
The aggressor was eventually immobilised and arrested for assaulting a police officer. A knife found at the scene of the crime was also seized by officers.
