Claude Haagen took over as Minister of Social Security and Minister of Agriculture, Viticulture and Rural Development at the beginning of January. Since then, SIDEC was looking for a new president of their syndicate bureau, a role that will now be filled by Romain Pierrard.
Pierrard was unanimously voted in. The trained German teacher worked as alderman in the municipality of Erpeldange-sur-Sûre in 2014, before becoming a SIDEC delegate in 2017. The following year, Pierrard was named vice president of the syndicate bureau.
