The Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps reported that seven individuals were injured in the accident. The timing of the crash caused tailbacks reaching back to Thionville during rush hour.
The Dudelange and Bettembourg fire brigades were at the scene alongside ambulances from Dudelange, Esch-sur-Alzette, Sanem-Differdange, and Luxembourg City.
