
Several car break-ins were reported overnight, both in Luxembourg City and in Erpeldange near Remich.
In the early hours of Tuesday, a man was reported attempting to break into a car on Rue Laurent Ménager in Luxembourg City. A police patrol quickly arrived at the scene and found that the passenger-side windows of three vehicles had been smashed. The suspected perpetrator was identified shortly afterwards.
In Rue de Mondorf in Erpeldange, another theft was reported. The suspect was interrupted while gaining access to a vehicle and was caught by the car owner’s partner. Stolen items were recovered from the individual.

On Monday afternoon, a person was robbed on Wäistrooss in Wintrange.
According to the police, initial information suggests that a woman snatched a chain from the victim’s neck. The victim sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital for a check-up. The suspect managed to flee the scene.
