Each petition has until 30 December to amass at least 4,500 signatures in order to be debated in the Chamber.
As usual the petitions cover a variety of topics, such as one requesting a school holiday reform. The petition asks to shorten the summer holidays and add to the autumn and spring half term holidays instead.
The 6 December, otherwise known as Kleeschen or St Nicolas' day, should become a public holiday, according to a second petition.
Another demands that electric scooters be banned in the Grand Duchy.
A fourth suggests acknowledging English as an administrative language in Luxembourg, while another requests that begging be banned.
The next public debate to take place following a petition will be on Monday afternoon, concerning the topic of tax reductions for singletons.
