According to reports, police in Wiltz received alerts that a man was sneaking around a farm property on Wednesday evening without permission to be there. At the scene, they noticed several parked vehicles had been moved in the yard, and the keys were missing. When they searched the suspect they discovered the missing keys and promptly took him into custody. He was arrested and brought before a judge on Thursday.
At around 1am on Thursday morning, a break-in was reported at a block of flats on Rue Johny Flick, Merl. The perpetrator was caught leaving the garage with an electric bike and a number of other stolen objects. Officers found signs of the break-in in the basement as well as a number of doors that had been tampered with. The bike was returned to its owner and the suspect was taken into custody.
