According to police reports, another accident occurred at 6.20am on the road between Bockholtz and Pintsch, when a motorist lost control of his vehicle and hit a tree. The passenger was trapped in the car and had to be cut out by the emergency services, before being taken to hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
The driver came away from the accident without injury, but had his licence confiscated when a breathalyser test proved positive.
Shortly after 10am, a car crashed into a wall in Soleuvre. One person was injured.
