Last Thursday, police conducted a regular car check in Esch-sur-Alzette when their sniffer dog discovered a number of prohibited substances.

Due to the suspicion of organised drug trade, the prosecutor’s office ordered a search of the vehicle. Officers ended up finding a total of 733.9 grams of hashish, 50 grams of crystal meth, 2.5 grams of cocaine, as well as illegal weapons, including knifes and batons.

The three passengers were arrested by order of the prosecutor’s office and presented to an examining magistrate on Friday.
