On Thursday afternoon, the German federal police extradited three men to the Grand Duchy after they had been held in a Trier prison cell.

One of the men is a 41-year-old Serbian national, wanted for a number of violent crimes committed in Luxembourg.

The second is a 49-year-old Greek man who committed several property offences in 2014. The third is a 37-year-old Portuguese national who was sentenced by Diekirch court to 720 days in prison last year, for 10 separate traffic offences. According to the ruling, he must serve 675 days of the sentence in Luxembourg.
