A strike of SNCF workers will lead to disruptions in rail traffic on 6 July. Train traffic will be reduced from Tuesday evening to Thursday morning.

According to the SNCF, the strike will also affect the regional “TER Grand Est” lines.

On Tuesday 5 July, the trains running between Metz and Nancy in the evening will be the first affected.

On Wednesday 6 July, the day of the strike, traffic will be limited to the morning and evening rush hours. According to the information sheet published by the SNCF, no TER will run between Metz-Thionville-Luxembourg City between 8.30am and 4pm.

In ten days from now, cross-border workers will have to deal with far more serious traffic problems: no trains will be running between Luxembourg City and Bettembourg for three weeks.
