A police patrol found a damaged car near the Mamer/Capellen slip road to the A6 motorway, which had all four hazard lights on. The driver, who appeared significantly intoxicated, was staggering across the nearby road. The alcohol test came back positive, for which officers confiscated the man's license and awarded a provisional driving ban. The unusable vehicle had to be towed.

At 1.30 a.m., a driver crashed into a parked vehicle on Avenue de Luxembourg in Bascharage. The driver's alcohol test was positive. Officers thus revoked his licence and awarded a provisional driving ban. Nobody was injured during the incident.

Shortly after midnight, a car crash occurred on the CR136 near Biwer. The driver lost control over their vehicle, collided with a wall, and eventually landed flipped on its side on the opposite side of the road. Two passengers were inside at the time of the accident. None of them suffered injuries, but both were intoxicated, as an alcohol test showed later on.

When police officers wanted to record a protocol of the accident, both passengers claimed to have driven the car themselves. Given that none of them were willing to change their statements, the police had to inform the prosecutor's office. Official steps were initiated to revoke both licenses.
