The victim in this case was assaulted by two men. They first hit the victim before taking his smartphone and fleeing towards the airport. The victim tried pursuing them, only to be dealt more blows by the attackers. Both managed to escape.
The second mugging took place at 7.40 p.m. in Rue André Duchscher in Echternach. A thief stole a bag from an unsuspecting person, but was stopped by the police near the bus station soon after. Charges were pressed.
