The issues first arose on Monday, although they seemed to be resolved throughout the day.
On Tuesday, Luxtrust confirmed they were again experiencing issues with their servers, but that the problem was currently being worked on in order to resolve it as quickly as possible. In a statement, they said that the cause of the disturbances and unavailability was still being identified, and apologised to customers affected by the issue. The company described the problem as being caused by strong disruptions and unavailability of its authentication services and electronic signature over the following periods:
- Monday, October 28, 2019 from 8:02 to 12:15
- Tuesday, October 29, 2019 from 9:10 to 12:16
They hope to obtain full availability of services as quickly as possible.
Luxtrust has around 700,000 clients in the Grand Duchy.
