In Luxembourg City, a man was robbed by three masked culprits in Quartier de la Gare at around 5.40 pm. The muggers stole the man's wallet. The victim was followed by an unknown individual who later received help by two more people. The latter approached the victim from the front, asking him for a cigarette. The first culprit used the distraction to steal the wallet from the victim's back pocket. When the man tried to pursue the robber, he was held back by the latter's accomplices, who ended up fleeing the scene as well. A complaint has been filed.
In Differdange, a person was mugged in Parc Gerlach at around 10.40 pm. The robbers attacked the victim and stole their bag and mobile phone. The Differdange police have launched an investigation.
