Parliamentary enquiryWhere does the government plan to locate its vehicle pound?

RTL Today
MP Dan Biancalana from the Luxembourg Socialist Workers' Party (LSAP) recently addressed a parliamentary enquiry at Minister of the Economy Franz Fayot and Minister of Internal Security Henri Kox.

MP Biancalana, who is also Mayor of Dudelange, enquired about the government’s pound relocation plans. In their joint response (FR), Ministers Fayot and Kox explained that there was no intention of making the “Eurohub-Sud” site, located on both Differdange and Bettembourg territory, a permanent solution.

In Autumn last year, the Ministry of Internal Security announced that the Eurohub site were to function as a temporary solution, which is why a number of cars were relocated to the new location. However, due to a number of legal issues, the site cannot be turned into a permanent pound, explained the Ministers in their official response to MP Biancalana.

They further underlined that the Ministry of Internal Security is in constant dialogue with the administrative services in charge of monitoring government infrastructure to find a solution.
