On Sunday evening, shortly before 8pm, two cars collided on the road between Schumannseck and Pommerloch. One person was injured in the accident. Firefighters from the Lac de la Haute-Sûre municipality and an ambulance from Wiltz were deployed to the scene.
Shortly after 9pm, a fire broke out in the basement of a building on Rue de Contern in Sandweiler. Fire crews from Hesperange, Moutfort, and Sandweiler were called in to extinguish the blaze. An ambulance from Findel also attended. Two people were injured.
