Doctoral students will receive a higher increase of 7%, also applied in two phases over the same period. Postdoctoral researchers will benefit from a €1,000 bonus, paid in two instalments following the signing of the agreement and at the start of 2027.
Several provisions related to working hours have been restructured to improve clarity. The agreement also introduces more flexible arrangements for parents of young children, particularly in balancing childcare and research responsibilities. Employees will now be able to purchase up to 10 additional days of leave, compared with five previously.
A disconnection charter has also been established, alongside an informal resolution approach in cases of harassment, discrimination.
Both parties have agreed to establish a working group focusing on pensions and early retirement.
