A cyclist was critically injured in a crash on Route Principale in Born at around 3pm on Monday. According to preliminary information, the cyclist lost control of their vehicle and fell, sustaining life-threatening injuries, police reported on Tuesday morning. After receiving first aid at the scene, the cyclist was hospitalised.
In a separate incident on Tuesday morning, a motorist crashed their vehicle in the roundabout in Hellange at around 10.30am. One person was injured. Firefighters from Frisange and Roeser, as well as paramedics from Esch-sur-Alzette, attended the scene.
