RTL received a report on Sunday afternoon of a fire on Rue Barbourg in Esch-sur-Alzette, behind the municipal workshops. As forester Paul Zimmermann confirmed to RTL, around one hectare of dry grass had gone up. The blaze has since been put out.
No further details have been made public at this stage.
