A dramtic accident occurred on Tuesday morning around 9.20am on the road between Beaufort and Grundhof. According to initial information, a truck carrying 4,000 liters of milk stopped on the narrow road at the edge of the street because two cars were coming toward it.
However, the truck went a bit too far to the right onto the shoulder, which caused it to start sliding. The truck driver was able to climb out of the cabin just in time before the truck slid down the embankment into the field and tipped over.
Due to the impact, part of the milk also spilled out of the truck and leaked.
Officials from the Water Management Agency are on site because a stream is not far away, and the milk has spilled into it.
The road had to be temporarily closed for rescue operations.
