The Mammography Programme

Luxembourg’s national breast screening programme, known as the Mammography Programme, is aimed at all women aged between 45 and 74, with the recommendation that they undergo a mammogram every two years to screen for breast cancer. Mammograms carried out under the programme are free of charge.

As reminded by the Health Ministry, early breast cancer diagnosis is only possible through screening mammography.

For more information on how to schedule a mammography, visit the Health Ministry’s dedicated website.
