Following the earlier closure of its Foetz store, the company has confirmed that its remaining locations in Strassen and Wemperhardt will also shut down. Both sites are expected to remain open until the end of the year.

The decision is largely linked to the planned tram extension along Route d’Arlon, which will require the demolition of the Strassen premises. Construction work is due to begin next spring.

According to management, the Wemperhardt store would not be viable on its own once the Strassen site closes.

In an official statement, the company said employees would be treated responsibly, with transitional arrangements to be put in place.

The planned tram project has already impacted other businesses in the area. The Bâtiself store in Strassen closed at the end of 2025 for the same reason.
