On Sunday afternoon at around 4.30pm, a police patrol stopped a car on the A4 travelling at 124 km/h on a stretch where the speed limit was 70 km/h. The driver’s licence was confiscated on the spot.

In the early hours of Monday morning, a patrol in Ettelbruck spotted a vehicle travelling at excessive speed on Avenue Lucien Salentiny and pulled it over shortly afterwards. During the stop, officers detected the smell of alcohol, and a subsequent breath test came back positive. The driver’s licence was confiscated.
