Police will once again take part in the European Speed campaign, organised by the RoadPol network from 13 to 19 April, with a focus on speeding, one of the leading causes of fatal accidents in Europe.

A key moment of the campaign is the Speedmarathon, which will take place on 15 April.

24 hours of intensified checks

During this 24-hour window on 15 April, police will carry out intensified speed checks across the country, particularly during peak traffic hours. The operation is being conducted simultaneously in several European countries.

Public vote on checkpoints

As part of efforts to involve the public, police are encouraging residents to take part in selecting checkpoint locations.

From Friday 10 April, users can vote on the Grand Ducal Police’s official Instagram page (@policelux), where two locations per region will be proposed.
