A burglary was reported on Wednesday morning at a business in Bonnevoie. According to initial findings, two suspects broke in by smashing a window and stole various items as well as cash. One of the suspects was later apprehended. At the police station, the individual resisted arrest and injured three officers. He was subsequently placed in pretrial detention on the orders of the public prosecutor’s office and brought before the examining magistrate.
That evening, police noticed a person hiding an object under a barrier on Rue de la Fonderie, near Luxembourg City’s Gare area. Officers who attended the scene discovered several packets of drugs. The suspect was apprehended shortly afterwards. On the orders of the public prosecutor’s office, the alleged drug trafficker was taken into custody and brought before an examining magistrate on Thursday morning.
In a separate incident, a domestic dispute was reported on Wednesday evening in Soleuvre. According to initial findings, an altercation broke out during which a son physically assaulted his father and issued death threats. The victim was taken to hospital for observation, while the suspect was arrested and is due to be brought before an examining magistrate later in the day.
