The suspected burglar reportedly took off on foot and headed into the nearby forests. The suspect, believed to be around 30 years old, ran towards Luxembourg and the municipality of Rumelange. According to the suspect description, he wore a vest, a light blue sweater and jeans and was said to have dark skin.
Police reminded the public not to pick up any hitchhikers. Potential witnesses are urged to contact police at 113.
