A group of adolescents were caught riding unregistered, uninsured dirtbikes without helmets in Cessange on Monday afternoon.
Police were called to the “Bei der Harewiss” area after receiving reports that several adolescents were driving motorcycles without number plates up and down the street while not wearing helmets. A police patrol was despatched and located the adolescents as well as the two motorcycles, which were identified as dirtbikes.
On the orders of the public prosecutor’s office, the two bikes were seized.
The police issued fines. Among the reasons cited were that the adolescents did not possess driving licences and that the vehicles were not insured.
