Three people were injured in an apartment fire in Limpertsberg on Monday evening, while emergency services also responded to a separate incident in Bonnevoie.

Emergency services were called to two incidents in Luxembourg City on Monday evening.

At around 10.59pm, a major operation was launched in Limpertsberg, on Avenue du Bois. Fire and rescue units (CIS) from Luxembourg City, Hesperange, and Mamer were deployed after a fire broke out in an apartment.

Two ambulances from Luxembourg City and an emergency medical unit (SAMU) from Esch-sur-Alzette also attended the scene. According to the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS), three people were injured.

In an unrelated incident, emergency services were also called to Dernier Sol street at around 10.05pm in Bonnevoie following a microwave fire. Firefighters from Luxembourg City attended the scene. No further details about the incident have been released.
